The Best of Beauty products

I’ve made a list of the ten best beauty products of the moment. You should definitely try one, or more, of these out some time soon because they work marvelously! What do you think of my selection? Do you own or know a product that should also be in this list? Let me know!

1. Eight Hour Cream by Elizabeth Arden

I bet you’ll all familiar with this cream! It’s an absolute must have in every beauty closet as it has already won many prizes. This cream is amazing for every bodypart! You can use it to take care of your nails or even as a facial cream.  But also for little pains like small cuts, chapped lips and dry skin zones. I’m sure you won’t regret buying it. The Eight Hour Cream costs 15 to 20 euros for 50 ml.

2. Rosebud Salve

This lip balm is, just like the Eight Hour Cream, a multi purpose cream. Besides using it for your lips, it can also be applied on dry skin zones, burns, hands and feet,… The lip balm, or should I say multi purpose balm, smells nice but not too heavy and is tasteless. Rosebud Salve has been on the market since 1885 (hence the cute vintage looking tin) and costs about 10 euros.

3. Three Steps plan by Clinique

These products have been on the market for over 44 years so you could say they’ve proven to work. The concept is simple: to rejuvenate, hydrate, cleanse, exfoliate and level your skin, you use these three products. The first one is Mild Liquid Face Soap: you gentle rub your face and wash with water afterwards. The second product is the Clarifying Lotion: you put some lotion on a cotton pad and rub it over your face. The third and last product is the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion to balance your moisture content. The three products cost between 30 and 40 euros each.

4. Diorshow Iconic Mascara Noir by Dior

I believe this mascara is an absolute must have because of its innovating brush which allows the hairs to individually treat all eyelashes. You’ll get a maximum effect with a minimum of effort. This mascara costs around 30 euros; not cheap but worth it!

5. Le Vernis by Chanel

I can say, without doubt, this is the best nail polish there is. The colours are always deep, shiny and last a very long time. Besides that, Le Vernis strengthens your nails and protects them. Chanel Le Vernis costs about 20 euros.

6. Addict Lip Maximizer by Dior

This active collagen lipgloss is a very worthy opponent for collagen injections. Once applied you can immediatly witness fuller, smoother and hydrated lips. Your smile becomes irrestible! The Addict Lip Maximizer smells minty fresh which makes it even better! The lipgloss costs about 30 euros.

 7. Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent

This wonderful pen just needs a few clicks to divide the right amount of colour. The texture is light, bright and literally becomes one with your skin. It’s a marvellous product to enlight certain parts of your face. Touche Eclat by YSL costs about 35 euros.

8. Tweezerman

Selected as the best tweezers in the world, the Tweezerman has a reputation to hold high. These tweezer get out the smallest and thinest hairs. It’s an absolute favourite of many celebrities like Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson and the Olsen twins. The Tweezerman is not cheap of course, you’ll pay around 20 euros for one.

9. Pro Series by Wella

This line of styling and caring hair products is the best! I’ve been using Wella Pro Series colour shampoo and volume conditioner for over a year now and I’m very pleased with the result every time. Biggest benefit is without doubt the size and price of the bottles: 4 euros for 500 ml! Isn’t that amazing?! Besides that, your hair becomes very smooth and it’s easy to comb it.

10. Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel

I’ve been addicted to Marc Jacobs perfumes lately (I’ve got Daisy Hot Pink and Lola) but there’s one scent I’ll always wear: Coco Mademoiselle. I’m very fond of this scent, it’s all flowery and girly, quite the opposite of Chanel no 5. As all Chanel scents, this one is quite pricy as well, you’ll pay around 90 euros for 100 ml.
