After a few days of hard work, a great New Year’s eve party would be right in place, I thought a while ago. And right I was! My boyfriend and I celebrated New Year’s eve at Mondo Hotel in Ostend together with my best friend B. from Trips & Treasures, her boyfriend and some other friends. We started with some bubbles and snacks B. made in the lounge of the hotel. Later on we moved to the dinner table and had a starter: sole and salmon roles with a crustacea sauce and risotto, then soup: Spanish pepper soup with Serrano ham chips or white asparagus soup with shrimp balls and of course main course: duck breast with fine de champagne sauce, almond croquettes and a vegetable mix or pearl hen with old Madeira sauce, rösti’s and a vegetable mix. Everything tasted superbly, like always from caterer Leconte. After dinner, we moved back to the lounge to celebrate New Year at midnight with a glass of pink bubbles with red fruit and little ice desserts in all kinds of cute shapes by glacier/patissier/chocolatier Debailleul. After dessert, the party really got started and we danced the night away 😉 Also, I was wearing a pair of black snake print trousers from Massimo Dutti, a white top also from Massimo Dutti and black lacquer pumps from Kennel+Schmenger.
